Rosemary Wind

There's a picnic in the garden
And they're all wearing the masks
And drinking to the toast they forgot to warm
I felt in the cold
It took the pink from my nose
It was hard to hold it all in
Just a long embrace from a passing friend
When is the end

How a sun sits like a bowl
Miss the light in your breathe
It smelt as a rosemary wind

And we scraped the walls for gold
But it all just went dull
Fingernails don't just bend
Polish and leave the rest
For I am a savory
Stack of flesh and raw kindlin
And we hope to ignite a shivering ember
Refract and funnel in

How a sun sits like a bowl
Miss the light in your breathe
It smelt as a rosemary wind

And the story's been told
About the blinking
A care without a thought
Three jubilees in bundled arms of ten
Your heart
Your alter
Burn your sins

Call and a gaze
Signals will raise
Pray for good favor
Ancient of days

How a sun sits like a bowl
Miss the light in your breathe
It smelt as rosemary wind
