Survived My Early Twenties

I don't have many friends
And the ones I do are falling through the cracks
I pretend
That it's normal
But I'm awful
At keeping in touch
And remembering enough
As the world turns, it's all I can do to keep up

But I've survived
So far, at least
I haven't quite worked out the wood from the trees
But I've survived
So far, at least
I'm scared of the ending
But that feels good
It feels good to me

My childhood home's a state
And the picture that I thought that I could trace frayed with age
Is that normal?
Well I'm not sure
There's two sides of me
Either side of the sea
With a thousand miles
And a thousand sleepless nights in between

But I've survived
So far, at least
I haven't quite worked out the wood from the trees
But I've survived
So far, at least
I'm scared of the ending
But it feels good to me

And I've survived
So far, at least
Shaky is the ground beneath the both of my feet
I've survived
So far, at least
I'm scared of the ending
But that feels good
It feels good to me
It feels good to me
