Cotton Candy

Dreaming
Purple rivers drifting an boat made of nothing but glass
And you must know
Black and gold
What lays behind the sun
Umbrellas keep the rain away for a while
But when it's pouring down you're not even
Looking up
Oh I'm glued to the ground
Looking up
To places I can't be
Looking up
Charcoal weather
Looking up
For now

Cotton candy clouds will keep me floating when I'm down
And I don't know
Should I stay or should I go
My head is in the clouds so I guess I'll stay for now

For now
My problems seem so far away when I'm above the clouds
For now

Cotton candy clouds will keep me floating when I'm down
And I don't know
Should I stay or should I go
I don't know

On a warm spring day a boy was caught by surprise
As he was wandering through a field of poppies blowing to the wind
A pink cloud soft as cotton candy picked him up
He had nowhere to be and many places to see
And for just a little while he was ok with just floating away
