Circumlocution

A man speaks in front of a crowd he tries to explain a simple idea
He finds himself searching around
For the words but nothing comes out clear
There's too many sentences the crowd begins to lose interest and leave
And as they're walking out the door
He picks a word to summarise his fears
He says I'll be your circumlocution
While I use circumlocution

In order to draw them in he starts to define what that word means
He uses too many words to pass the time and keep their company
At one point the thought comes in the irony of what this seems to be
Still he sits there passively monotonously describing his dream

He says I'll be your circumlocution
While I still use circumlocution
