Mountain Breeze

I've been thinking about my grandfathers who sailed across the sea
And I don't think that they'd be too proud of me
I've been sitting behind a desk all day while sipping a hot cup of tea
While they were out exploring and adventuring
I can't take this any longer
I've gotta get out of here

My secret remedy
Is rhododendron trees
Spending all my afternoon
Just to catch a view
And a nice forest walk
Will always clear my thoughts
When I'm stressed out all I need
Is the mountain breeze
Oh take me away to the blue ridge parkway
I've been staring at a screen and it makes me wanna scream
When I'm stressed out all I need is the mountain breeze

So I drove up to a mountain and got out my phone
I threw that thing out the window
That beautiful breeze reminded me I was made for so much more
God made us all to go enjoy the world
I can't take this any longer
I've gotta get out of here

My secret remedy
Is rhododendron trees
Spending all my afternoon
Just to catch a view
And a nice forest walk
Will always clear my thoughts
When I'm stressed out all I need
Is the mountain breeze

Right now all I need
Is the mountain breeze
I've been staring at a screen
And it makes me wanna scream
So I'm headed out the door
Cause I was made live for so much more

My secret remedy
Is rhododendron trees
Spending all my afternoon
Just to catch a view
And a nice forest walk
Will always clear my thoughts
When I'm stressed out all I need
Is the mountain breeze
Oh take me away to the blue ridge parkway
I've been staring at a screen and it makes me wanna scream
When I'm stressed out all I need is the mountain breeze
