One Final Ode

Scorched earth beneath our feet
Desolate sands for miles to see
Once fertile grounds reduced to dust
A sudden omen of times to come

Corrupted entities sprawling around
The charred remains haunting abound
Hungered and deformed these beasts are the scourge of the earth, a product of this scar

Disgusting spawns from the entrails of catastrophy
Rotting without ending, a revulsing sight
Minds following their flesh, a disassembly
Decaying landscapes, robbed of their former might

Still, He won't give way to obliteration
An aberration, a cursed demigod

The red lion forever roars
Holding back the stars, preventing sorrows
One last strand of hope
The burden of loss, none will have to cope

The battle raged, crimson tainting the sands
Arrows piercing the skies, gravity turned on its head
Life and death of all in the balance,
His sister blade chose it's only option,
Beautiful and poisonous self-destruction

The red lion forever roars
Holding back the stars, preventing sorrows
One last strand of hope
The burden of loss, none will have to cope

Look at this great festival
In honor of the greatest champion ever to live
All the bravest pretenders now reunited, shall
Offer him his deserved graceful end

Torn apart
Disfigured
Still he stands
His tremendous
Power
Radiates

His emaciated
Steed
Kept by his side
Loyal warriors
Of light

In his last breaths
A final prowess
Hurling to the skies
Before he smites the ground

Resisting the deflagration,
The brave Tarnished,
Completes his execution
Putting an end to his misery
This is the way it's supposed to be

Our fate has been sealed

Blegh
