Pathway To Peace.

Its been a long time but i finally tasted peace
But i only had the pieces of the puzzle not complete
It started bout 3 years ago in 2019
I was fightin off depression and i couldn't find me
I lost myself inside the bottles, i was livin full throttle
I was on the gas couldn't stop didn't how much it cost you
So i paid for all the fun that i thought that i had
But i had ended up going broke i was stuck down bad
This had all begun when i was young, my mind raced it always runs
I couldn't keep track so i had chose to be numb
I decided not to think so i got deep in the screens
Watchin netflix drownin more with every scene
My best friend was a phone
I really struggled alone
Even though bein in private is the place i'll be known
I'm on the pathway to peace, the peace that comes from the King
And this jaunt has been a journey who will know what it brings
But God knows
Livin water on the daily yeah cuz that's my God flow
Sometimes in the valley is the place where you and God grow
So you gotta wait and learn to praise Him in the pot holes
Life get kinda bumpy but You're standin on the rock tho
He the greatest foundation
And He the place where You're safest
So please stop runnin from graces
Rest in Him He the greatest
He'll be the salt when you tasteless
You gotta trust in His word and take it back to the basics
Look
He said come and cast your cares
He gives peace, and a sound mind
So please do not be scared
I'm still learnin to accept it
Cuz it don't really make sense
When finances are messed up
And i can't really make cents
So i trust in His provision
Cuz His peace it gives me vision
I'm in proverbs im readin thru im tryna get the wisdom
So i open it
His word what i'm soakin in
To be honest i still struggle with that but there's growth in it
Im still a work in progress
Life a hot mess i trust the process
I get turned around a lot repentance keeps me locked in
He really teach me often
And i be learnin from mistakes
It took a loss to profit
So now i look back on the journey and i reminisce
Seein just how much He taught me where His presence lives
He never left me nor forsake me cuz His love divine
He really bless us with His peace when we learn to abide

I'm on the pathway to Your peace
And i'll follow You my King
Yeah this road has not been easy
But i'm trusting You to lead

Im leavin all my old ways in Jesus name

Boutta be the best after
I learn more bout Your heart as You are teachin me through trespasses
Now i trust passage after passage cuz Your Word heals
I can have trust that's gives me peace because Your Word's real
Plus You've never lied
And You lie me down in green pastures
You lead me beside
Still waters You're the master
Master of my heart
Uh yeah You know what's best for me
Mix a lotta faith a lotta grace and that's the recipe
You killed off my old self and i look back sayin rest in peace
Yeah but in the end i'm on Your path and now i rest in peace
This that peace i really needed
And it comes from where You're seated
So i'm asking myself if my heart is on the Kingdom
Cuz the pathway is narrow but you be guidin by light
And Your Spirit lives inside me so Your peace is in sight
