December didn't rain where I grew up
A storm's waiting
I used to wish for snow around this time
Now it's raining
The streets don't look the same they did
They're changing
Like a single snowflake through the wind
That's melting

Again every winter is not the same
I feel, I don't know where something went
Is it real? Seasons will start to change
But I wish some held still mhmm
These days they have a different tone in them
I wish but I know I don't want the same
It's unique yeah, every winter's cold in its way
But some still feel warm

I always wished for these days to hold
From fading
But I like this tree more than the old
I'm changing
The lights still surround the tree and every night they glow
