The Two Trains

Here come two trains on their ways
Each bringing its hue and weight
One of them is dark and it's tight inside
The other one is bright and wide as the sky

Here come my trains again
They come from the past, come through my brain
One travels through green fields, the other through dim mines
Both reach their destinations in their own times

The dark train is coming, I feel the grip inside
Its fuel is the pain that I have denied
I should change the station, and so the train
But I have been tied in my chains

I've known the bad train a longtime
I can smell its smoke and forsee its grime
Its noises make me stunned, its headlights leave me blind
Its trip is not an easy going kind

But into the Sunrise, a clear sky behind
It's the bright train that usually blows my mind
At peace at the station, I long for the train
I can't wait to travel again

I don't want the dark train
I won't take it again

I don't want the dark train
I won't take it again
