Whimsical Fantasies Part II

Deep in the woods In the dead of night
There's a light shining bright
Strong, with might
For here in my heart
You bring spark to my night
And the stars align tonight

For here in the woods
All seemed garish, out of sight
Where the creatures lurk
Ready to fight
Yet therefore, you come
Strong and mighty with life
How brave and fearless thou

In my mind, I try to hide
Hide from all the creatures that prey for my life
Let these whimsical fantasies roll, take flight
To forget all the darkness behind

Through plains and through rivers so far and wide
We traverse without reason or rhyme
Through mountains, through hills
Through the harshness of life
You were there, always there by my side

I know it seems too odd
To cross the seas as if I'm not weak and dull
Let me take it all and see how the future comes
With you by my side, I'm alright

But when do I stop with these thoughts in my mind?
Yes you're here but I'm drowning in sand
Help me, and save me from this place
Where I am, you're my light
My heart, my life
