All My Friends

I moved away
Packed up my bags
Started again
A countryside man
I love my new life
And it's here to stay
But I'd be lying if I
Didn't miss my old ways
Sometimes
Tell myself that's life

And now, all of my friends
They're going out
Getting messed up 'til the early hours
But I stay home
Pretend I'm not scared
That I'll lose them all 'cause I'm never there
I guess that people change
And maybe I'm not made that way anymore

Stay off my phone
Close it at night
I try not to listen
To the voice in my mind
You'll be the one
That they will forget
And no one will call you
Ever again
I get why
Tell myself that's life

'Cause now, all of my friends
They're going out
Getting messed up 'til the early hours
But I stay home
Pretend I'm not scared
That I'll lose them all 'cause I'm never there
I guess that people change
And maybe I'm not who I was before

I guess that people change
Maybe it's my age
It don't matter all the same
Cause I know I'm not who I was before
