Well I lost my job so they towed my car
I walked down the boulevard but didn't get far
When a man pulled up, said who could you be?
Another blind man trying to see

He said hop on in, we'll go for a ride

I said ok, how far do you go?
He said, as long as it takes to make you know

And they say that the grass is always greener

But I tell you from my heart that that's a lie

The lamps light up it's getting dark
We pull up to an old park

It looks like a village, and I feel like a king
