As I scope the globe, concerns hit my core
Sanity lost, dark skies, the world's at war
Those in power, shameless eyes, no remorse
Watching the world burn, it's a twisted course
Blind to the facts, or just heartless, you see
Empathy's missing, it's a heartless decree

What moves will you make?
Path take?
Change create?
Create?

Look around, world's chaos, it's all in sight,
Borders closing in, hope's taking flight.
Wealthy nations, conservative stance they show,
Ignoring the suffering, as they watch it grow.
Is it ignorance, or a truth they'd rather flee,
An empty void where empathy should be?

Eyes on the world, it's been twisted and turned
Rich get richer, while hope's slowly burned
If you're on the winning side, why would you strive?
But justice and empathy, they're needed to survive
Is it greed that blinds them, it's plain to see
Or a yearning for empathy to set us all free?

Unleash the wolf pack, let hope shine anew
In times of despair, be that guiding light
