Stop this senseless violence
The killing of the innocent

False notions of supremacy

We waste our time fighting one another
Laughed at from above, as our overlords hover
Beliefs set by the place that we're born in
So many wars and fights, over nothing that's important

Look at the fallen children
Families washed away by blood and tears
How can we stand by and watch them burn

We're so desensitized
War's been romanticized
The world watches for a minute
Til the trend is over
Show support for social cred
Whatever gets exposure
How did we fall so far?

As time goes on and we evolve
There's no problem we can't solve
So why do we still feel the need
To bring those different to their knees?
Weapons larger, hatred stronger

How is this progress?
