Hearing the truth, sometimes people ain't into that

The truth is, it's been time we move away from Republican and Democrat

Honestly, you ask a black person that, a lot of us don't even really know
I mean, we carrying the scars of slavery that happened hundreds of years ago

But on the outside, only our skin color show
They want to erase the teachings of what built the wealth in this country
Why are y'all so ashamed of y'all's history
Yet at the same damn time, why is it okay for a lot of people who look like me be a walking mystery

Maybe that's why y'all target us the way some of y'all do
You'd rather kill us or allow us to kill ourselves
Instead of facing something so ugly and so true

And what is a race card
A lot of other ethnic groups seem to think that black is a card and we play it
Well, if that black card was so damn powerful, then you need to give us the reparations when we say it
Because most of us are really not even racist

But if America has always been so great, why do a lot of y'all have a problem with switching places
Sometimes we walk in and we see the disgust in some of y'all's faces
It's a damn shame
Generations later, racism is still the world's number one hater
