Nature So Giant

Never had a lot
I had to stretch my dollar like knit
Ain't a myth what I did on the block
Came up hard like steel
Could've lost my life to a cop
Had an elbow stuffed in the trunk
But that was a routine stop
Thank God that he didn't have a
Thank god that I didn't get

But what young man really knows what's right
And is he known to just riot
Where his hands built for war
Was his mind made to be violent
Two ears and only one mouth
Was a man made to be silent
These trees high five the clouds
To a man nature so giant

You gave it away
Now you want it all back
You told me we cool
But was it all just an act
You gave me your train of thought
But somehow we fell off track
Don't front too much when you speak
Cause some words you can't take them back

We stumble
We fall
But it's up to us to try and stand tall
Cause time fades away so fast
There's no way to have it all

Way too loud
I can't even hear a sound
No white flags in the air for surrender now
I'm way too proud
