Glory

The events of my life are quite the story
There's no need for allegory
Redemption and pain its been quite the journey
I'm doing my best not to be in a hurry
Been given a choice two kinds of life
One with a picket fence and beautiful wife
The other is a path a path of glory
Where after my death you'll remember my story

Should I be a normal guy
A simple life that passes by
Or give it all up for glory
So that you'll remember my story

Do I choose a normal life or dance on the edge of a knife
Feel enough from a child's birth or try to change the whole damn earth
Do I say I'm a simple man or do I say I believe I can
Do I simply smile and nod or should I be a soldier of God
Sometimes its a curse can't describe how bad it hurts
Sometimes I feel so blessed I just can't express
The choice I have to make I'm gonna make if for heavens sake
So I drop drop to my knees oh oh I pray that I could see

Should I be a normal guy
A simple life that passes by
Or give it all up for glory
So that you'll remember my story
