Reminisce On A Verse

Through the good and the bad
Through the best and the worst
Don't know where it began, but I know where it ends
For someone who ran in the streets with my, friends
I know who I am and I know who I've been
And for this type of man it's the streets or the pen
I roll through this land while amongst wicked men
I've lost all command and the battle within
I don't understand how it happened, or when
This shit wasn't planned but I'm stuck in my sin
So sad to say, but I must keep it true
While day after day I just play like it's cool
Memories play in my head till I'm blue
Seen it all go away, what the fuck can I do
Seen 'em come, seen 'em go with the few that remain
Deep down I know that they all feel the same
I send out this flow to those dead and in chains
That I stay missing, so through, my joy and my pain

Through the good and the bad, best and the worst
Times that I've had, living here on this Earth
What a trip looking back, memories just rehearse
As I write down this track, Reminisce On A Verse

Since my days as a kid, I guess I followed the tracks
What my brothers did, let me run down the facts
Violence was hid, while in school we would act
Like the rest of 'em did, our insides had a whack
Pops beat on mom, we would try and interfere
So much was wrong, it's a blessing I'm here
Somehow we got along through the pain and the fear
Made us tough, made us strong, made us close through the years
After some time we would all come to find
The oldest in line coming up on the grind
The violence, the crime, and the drugs made us blind
Saw the brothers of mine, I just fell in behind
Banging a set, quick to check any foes
I wreck those who step and who try to oppose
Dancing with death hold my breath till I choke
Man, I got nothing left, but this meth that I smoke
