Abiyoyo (Live)
Abiyoyoyoyoyo
A long time ago, there lived a boy, in a village in South Africa
His father bought him a guitar, boy he loved that guitar
He would play it day and night, and night and day
He would play chingy, chingy, chingy
He would play that guitar so loud
He would play chingy, chingy, chingy
But the villagers would get so mad
They'd say, kick that boy out of here, yeah
Send him to the edge of town, let's go
Never to be seen or heard from again
Abiyoyoyoyoyo
The boy had a father
He was also known as the village magician, abracadabra
Everywhere he would go, he would take out his magic wand
He would make precious items disappear all over the place
He would go whoop whoop, and precious items would start to disappear
He would go whoop whoop, and the villagers would get so mad
They'd say, kick that man out of here, yeah
Send him to the edge of town, let's go
Never to be seen or heard from again
Abiyoyoyoyoyo
But one day an evil giant by the name Abiyoyo
Who lived at the top of the highest mountain
Came down the mountain to feast on the fears of the villagers
He ravaged the village with his thundering footsteps and his blood thirsty roar
The cries of the villagers echoed even to edge of town
Screaming save our children, save our women, save yourselves, Run
Abiyoyoyoyoyo
The boy and his father, heard the cries of the villagers, from across the edge of town
So the boy grabbed his guitar, his father his magic wand, and they ran towards the giant
And the boy played chingy, chingy, chingy
And the giant started to dance
And he played chingy, chingy, chingy
And the giant danced a little bit faster
And he played chingy, chingy, chingy
And the giant fell to the floor from exhaustion
And his father went whoop whoop
And the giant started to disappear
And his father went whoop whoop
And the giant disappeared a little bit more
And his father went whoop whoop
And the giant disappeared
And the villagers rejoiced, singing the praises of the father and son
Singing
Abiyoyoyoyoyo
Abiyoyo's no more
This is a story about how the magic of music can defeat the hate in our hearts
This is a story about how the magic of music can defeat the giants in our lives
Keep making good music the soundtrack to your lives
