Dawning Of Mind

All is darkness in my mind
The moon is bright but I'm yet to find
The answer to the thought in mind

A glimmer, on the distant slopes
Comes to fast to give me hope
The reality of what's hidden there
The blackness sounding with despair

The sun to the left, the moon to the right
Buy which of these paths is right?

Suddenly, out from the gloom
Raying forth, a brand-new moon
The idea forms, but it's gone too soon

Again, the light, a simple thought
Struggling against my mental block
I am alone with no-one's aid
A thing from inside must be stirred

Again, the light resumes its fight
To push its way out of the night
Revolves around my body and soul
Making pictures inspiration flows

Exploding through with a sudden flash
The rays burst forth and dawn at last
Bathing in its glorious light
We've won

The horizon has my focus
As the sun sets in my mind
I'm waiting for the day to end
To see what I might find

Dreamland is a wonder place
Were thoughts can play their tricks
Where ideas come and ideas go
But nothing really sticks

My silver cloud is radiant
As sun light floods the sky
A kaleidoscope of colours
Pushes my spirits high
