They never seen it til' they looked at my faces
See I was never complacent I was blinded by statements

I was a plus one my whole life til' God showed me I was meant for more

He cleared the room of lies and lit the truths I couldn't see before
There ain't no faith without a drive to get it
And I admit it, I was scared before, I looked at life like "nah, forget it"
So I trembled, how was I permitted?
I lived life in the background, then on my own I didn't fit it
So God, how you're gonna use me?
I was crippled by addiction God I've never been the one to lead
God, now you're gonna use me?
I just never seen myself as a person that people wanna see

Lord, you have spoken
New territory in my sight and I'm hoping that it's really for me
I'm humbled that you chose me to be in your story
They said they had my back, but they weren't for me
I'm coming from a broken past
You always made a way when I asked
I succeed 'cause I prayed it
It's my turn and they hate it

So right now I come to you
Because I know my own strength can't accomplish what you want me to
God right now I pray to you
For courage and patience to do exactly what you say to do
You said it's my turn, no more living in loneliness
God I'm flawed, I'm imperfect
But that don't mean that I'm worthless
You gave me reason and purpose
No matter if I've got it figured out I know I got a God that is perfect
I know that I don't deserve it, but look how grace moves
Your mercy paved a way through
Your love has showed me that I'm important to you
God use me in the way that you intended
Let me not be blinded by the lies of my sin
God right now, let's dim the lights down
And show the world your love, and your grace, and your might now
Let me be your vessel, God I know you made me special
I just want to be complete, God I won't settle

And I know that what you have for me is greater than what I can see
