Constant change is making me crazy
Why can't things just stay the same?
Yesterday was so elating
I couldn't stop staring at your face
A phone call came and now I'm waiting
Watching every crashing wave
Will I see one set of footsteps

This day was so amazing
I wouldn't change a thing I'd say
I'd still tell you that I'm famous

If things stayed the same, we'd all go crazy
Imagine this day, every day
We'd get bored by our vacation
That repeated endlessly

Constantly changing my evasion
