Sounds of Revival (Intro)
The foundation of our faith is this idea of resurrection, of reincarnation, of revival
To get up from death itself and live again
We see this idea in the story of the prophet Ezekiel, whom God leads to a valley of dry
bones and says
"Can these dry bones live again?"
And then God tells Ezekiel to speak to the dry bones and say
"I will cause breath to enter you and you shall come to life"
And so the prophet speaks it and it comes to pass
And we see and we hear this idea of revival again with the story of Jesus
Who was forsaken by one friend, betrayed by another
Crown of thorns on his head, mocked and spit upon
Nails in his hands, nails in his feet, left to die on the cross of Calvary
Oh, but three days after they put his body in the tomb, there came a shaking and a rocking
And that dry-boned body of Jesus got up and lived again
And so today I want to encourage somebody
No matter how far forsaken you have felt or rejected you have been
No matter how much they've mocked you and spit upon you
No matter what crown of thorns they put on your head
The nails in your hands or in your feet
The promise of the Scripture is that dry bones get up
You can live again
Oh, I believe God is turning your pain into power today
God is turning your scars into testimonies and you
Tell your neighbor, "You can live again"
Come on, open up your mouth and let sounds of revival fill this place
Hallelujah!
Thanks be to God
