The Kite Boy
In a world where everything went black
There was a child with a colorful heart
A kite on his back, he could fly far away
From the world that he didn't fit in.
But he didn't want to leave
So the heart of his people could warm up and smile
Standing here, he was keeping a warm smile on his face
As a beacon for those who had given up on light.
The boy didn't talk much.
"You always look so happy" the people were saying.
But the truth is he had a broken heart.
From his shattered heart was flooding a colorful paint
that he used to color people's lives to teach them how to dream
"You deserve better"
"No, my light is needed right here.
I'll be there for them, help this world to remain
And one day everyone will heal"
The boy didn't give up.
He painted all the world bit by bit
Until all the paint
Was used and his heart finally healed.
The world started to sing
To honor the little boy's help
It had grown strong from the paint and the light it was given
A light that never fades away.

A light that never fades away.
