Beauty to Rescue

Roses wilt away from the beauty of her gaze
Even a sunrise will pale next to her glowing face
A will that's iron clad and even when she's mad she's gentle to the touch
There has never been someone that I could ever love this much

Her energy comes through her lips and flows down through her fingertips
Her sculpted figure makes me shiver head to feet
And I don't know what she does but it brings me to my knees
Oh could she be

My damsel in distress that I've been searching for forever
To take her away from all her feelings of captivity
Or was it me who was blind to all the bars surrounding me
So my beauty could rescue me
I needed my beauty to rescue me

So exquisite though humble
Like no one's ever known
And only the truest and most noble can pull her heart out from the stone
It's surprising her eyes bring a light that's never shown
Since fate persists I'd be a fool to resist, and be nothing on my own

Her energy comes through her lips and flows down through her fingertips
Her sculpted figure makes me shiver head to feet
And I don't know what she does but it brings me to my knees
Oh could she be

My damsel in distress that I've been searching for forever
To take her away from all her feelings of captivity
Or was it me who was blind to all the bars surrounding me
So my beauty could rescue me

Her smile makes one surrender
And everything blurs around her
These walls never stood a chance
She pierced through the armor I wore
And broke the grim curse that I bore
And I won't ever be the same

My knight in a white dress and I could not have dreamed up better
To save me from this prison of my own making
Cuz it was me who was blind to all these bars surrounding me
So my beauty could rescue me
I needed my beauty to rescue me
