I made it down to Wilson's Hardware Store
Forgot what I was looking for
But it felt good to get dressed and out today

I drove down Front Street by the Bistro
Stopped in and saw some friends I know
It was nice to see some folks but I didn't stay

I strolled down the street by the riverside
Felt a cool breeze and the warm sunshine
It was like a hug of hope
