Controlling the world from my bed
Which ended up being the title track from our first album

This was recorded on my iPhone on a Sunday afternoon in June
In the kitchen of our house one day
As I was trying to make the song into something

There is a bit of a Modest Mouse vibe in there

This is about my father and when he will eventually pass away
Makes me sad

"I punch my chest and throw you a heart, goodnight daddy"
This line is from a eulogy which Craig Ferguson aired in 2006
Seemed like the perfect fit for me and this song
