Finally Gone

Well Tahlequah's been home to me but I've seen
Them mountain springs in Colorado
Cuttin' through the earth
Like there's a villain
that's coming for all they're worth

And Multinomah was a sight to see
With my buddies showing all their teeth
And my darlin cuttin through the pines
Helping me to feel I'm so alive

And the pacific came crashin in
Like the Fort Gibson lake in a flood warning
Getting fucked up on the west coast $5 a gram
That shit'll light you up just like you'd never been

And the Appalachian Mountains are as old as time
I could see all the coal burnin into the sky
As I came into the foothills from a 7 hour drive
When them boys got hit with a mighty F-5

Well all my days
I spent staring at the paint
In a room that's full of questions
And a lot of words to say
I'm finally gone
But my money keeps on driftin away
So I'm reaching for the bottle
Hoping that my momma will pray

Now that Mexican gulf was the brightest blue
That I'd only seen a time or 2
In the eyes of an angel in my dreams
That Snow White beach has got a hold on me

Went through the flatlands, toward Wichita
And I could see that dog running for way too long
Smoke a joint neath the turbines and the Kansas sky
Pray for some hills on this ol' turnpike

Well all my days
I spent staring at the paint
In a room that's full of questions
And a lot of words to say
I'm finally gone
But my money keeps on driftin away
So I'm reaching for the bottle
Hoping that my momma will pray
