Humble Lion's Story

There was a mighty lion, big and strong
He had very sharp teeth and a tail that was long
His eyes were very scary and he had lots of hair
Walking on his four legs, here and there
Whoa that's a very big lion, he looks so brave

He was the king of the jungle you see
He roamed with pride and he was free
He ruled the jungle with all his glory
Let's all listen to the humble lion's story

As the lion looked scary, he didn't have a friend
Even if he tried his hardest and did pretend
He thought he knew it all but that wasn't true
In life there are endless lessons for you

Humble lion you're so smart and tall
But you don't show that you know it all
You look scary but you want to grow
By learning many things that you don't know
You try to be better than yesterday
You don't look down on anyone and say
If you want to be a better version of yourself
Never think that you're above anyone else

One day the lion saw a rabbit doing hops
He came up to him and then the rabbit stopped
The lion said to the rabbit he wanted to hop too
The rabbit said sure, I will teach you

One hop two hops three hops and four
Now it's your turn lion come on let's go
One hop, two hops, three hops and four
Yay I learned to hop and something more

Even if you're small you can do great things
Like I didn't know how to hop, even though I am the king
So always be humble and put your pride aside
You will grow and make many new friends in life
Thank you for being my friend little rabbit
And teaching me you're awesome

One day the lion was walking down a path
It was night and the place was so dark
The lion stepped on a thorn and he roared
He was in sharp pain not well deserved
Ouch my paw hurts, someone help me please

A hedgehog heard the lion's roar and he ran
He knew that the humble lion was in pain
He pulled very hard and took the thorn out
The lion realized what all of this was about
Thank you my little friend, thank you for your kindness

The lion learned that the kindness is nice
Remember this even you are very smart and wise
Be kind to everyone, no matter what shape or size
Always look at others with love in your eyes
Thank you hedgehog for all your help
I understand now that kindness is important
