For What It's Worth

Pulled a cup off of the shelf.
Made some coffee for myself.
Sit back, sipped it in,
For a moment I was quiet.
Been a while since I've been here,
Countless days almost a year.
Is it ok if I just stay in
This moment for a while?

I've heard good things come to those who wait,
And hard work is hard and there ain't no other way.
I've been blessed,
I've been cursed,
I'm far from perfect, but I've learned,
It ain't all good,
But life's still good for what it's worth.

Another trip around the sun,
Another year has just begun.
Sit back, take it in,
Just let your heart be quiet.
Dream your dreams, hope your hopes.
Don't need plans because who knows
Which way the wind might blow.
It's best just not to fight it!

I've heard good things come to those who wait,
And hard work is hard and there ain't no other way.
I've been blessed,
I've been cursed,
I'm far from perfect, but I've learned,
It ain't all good,
But life's still good for what it's worth.

Say "I love you" when you know.
Sip a beer while it's still cold.
Be grateful for the things you have even when hurts,
Cause it ain't all good,
But life's still good for what it's worth.
Oh it ain't all good,
But life's still good for what it's worth.
