Golden

Since I am getting older, pictures seem to fade
I think I'm getting stronger
I've carried quite some weight
If I am getting bolder, it's 'cause they said it to my face
So, I'm getting hold of things I was once afraid of

It's that weight that's lifted off of my shoulders
That makes these years all golden
It is not youth, it's the freedom of me moving
Changing colours and mood swings

The price of getting older, is that it never gets more clear
As long as you will join me, these years seem more than great
I'm going to stay put in this garden, in this haze

It's that weight that's lifted off of my shoulders
That makes these years all golden
It is not youth, it's the freedom of me moving
Changing colours and mood swings
I will take you there
I'm gonna take you home, to that place with the garden
I will take you there
I'm gonna take you home, to that place with the garden
It's that weight that's lifted off of my shoulders
That makes these years all golden
It is not youth, it's the freedom of me moving
Changing colours and mood swings
Since I am getting older, pictures seem to fade
