Loyalty

Some days are just like gold, and you know
We're hypothetical
Never show emotions too strong
Or you might just let go

So can I interest you in a story
About past light
A poetry about human lovers
That decide to take their lives

I wonder if my loyalty ever bores you, after the night
Take a hit, get high and drink some booze
Into the skies

Headlights are calling my name
I jump straight to you
Open roads and chilled champagne
I never thought that I would have this night
All to myself, and now I'm alone with my anxieties
Netflix just decided to crash and now I'll die in peace

I wonder if my loyalty ever bores you, after the night
Take a hit, get high and drink some booze
Into the skies

I feel like I never knew your name
But then the light guided me back home
Past Lives, a night to remember
I'll always stay with you
