The Bear

I was on a trail one day
I was traveling on my way
When I turned the corner to see
One big bear staring at me

He said "Son where are you going"
This is my territory
And when the sun comes out and the moon doth glow
The birds do sing and the grass doth grow
It means I'm getting hungry

I said Bear you must not know me
But here's my life story
I killed a lion with my bare hands
No gun or bow or jousting lance
And although you're a bit scary
Big and brown and hairy
I know I got ya beat you're gonna trip on your feet
When you come at me and then you'll see
Why they're gonna call me your king

Oh, oh, oh, oh Whooa

He looked me in the eye
He said boy you're gonna die
He began to charge at me
I buckled down my feet and prepared

He hit me of so hard
And I flew oh so far
I got back on my feet
Ready to defeat that bear

We fought all night into the moonlight
From the sound the birds took flight
I broke his leg his arm did bleed
For my peace he had to plead

I said bear now you know me
And now you're in my life story
If you want to see your family
You're gonna have to respect me
I know it ain't easy
Seeing me defeat thee
But now I got ya beat you're gonna have to see
That I got a new name you're gonna have to call me
Gonna have to call me your king.
