Mr Fox
Mr. Fox
Who lives in the woods
Gathering sticks
As many as he could
Building his house
All day and all night
Once it was done
Oh what a sight
How many sticks did he need to get
To build a castle out of a nest
The answer we may never know
The palace just seems to grow
Mr. Fox has bright red hair
Can you see him over there
Standing out in the grass
Running swiftly, flying fast
Where is he going
Will he get there soon
Is he late for dinner
Can we get the truth
The answers we may never know
His castle will forever grow
He's fast as lightning through the brush
Trying to beat the dinner rush
Mr. Fox is very quiet
Sneaking about, he's very silent
He likes to jump out to surprise his friends
They play hide and seek on the weekends
It's never fair when they play
His nose is so good, it's a giveaway
But the fox's pals don't mind
He's the best friend they can find
With his castle of sticks and lunch in his tummy
He's ready to nap before a game with his buddies
His rest he needs to sprint along
You'll never catch him cause he's gone
Mr. Fox can see a mile away
His eyes are so keen at the end of the day
The colors he sees are so bright
Almost as if you'd be seeing a light
It helps him at night
It keeps him real safe
So he can get home
And work at his place
He's gathering sticks day in and day out
Playing with friends, hopping about
Another good meal another good day
Can't wait till tomorrow is what he would say
This is the story about Mr. Fox
He would tell it if he could talk
Living his life in the woods
Gathering sticks as many as he could
Playing games with his friends
He wishes the fun would never end
But he has to run to make it home
If it gets dark he won't be alone
His senses are very sharp
And his map would never lie
He is strong and very brave
Mr. Fox is a stand-up guy
Who lives in the woods
Gathering sticks
As many as he could
Building his house
All day and all night
Once it was done
Oh what a sight
How many sticks did he need to get
To build a castle out of a nest
