Den Svarta Hästens-väg 76

When I lived in a house and my feet were small
I used to be with friends and play ball
I remember the dry, empty streets
Us friends used to shoot with guns of air
I remember my bed and the warm sheets
It used to be my shimmering glare
Though, today no one I know lie there

If I stand on the ledge and look through that window
I will see another family than mine
Though you might tell it is fine
Because my head were in twine
And I didn't live in that house to stay
So my father, mother, brother and I moved away

Now I have another home
The old house is sold, it is set in stone
The house, the best that ever known
Though memories' three ravens have not flown
And the ulcer is healed, it is sown
I am never by my own
You'll be in me where I roam
Goodbye my dear childhood home
