Scattered Light

Floating forever I am

No place where I could rest my head
Nothing merges ahead
And stranded as I can be
My world seems so delicate
I always fall back to where I could feel safe

But I don't even know what I feel
I can never reach anything
Lay down and bring a name
So, I'm beating again
But can't pass through my veins

I'll mourn tomorrow what I've lost
But now I'm tired
I can't scrape the visions I had
That, abandoned, emerged to fill the gap

Stars flooded the sky
To then explode in such delight
So taciturn it remains

I flooded the sky
I used the strength that I had
To paint it black
Watch it crashing
Precipitates over me

So far, I may let myself fall
To be consumed by it all
I yearn for the days when I used to crawl

Just like a light that gets reflected
Bounced back but
I don't recognize this feeling

To face the mirrors
