Mountain Men

Long way back home
Demons bothering my mind
Struggling on
Things a man cant say this times

Surrounded by the crowd
A big city and im all alone
They talk so loud
Not more than-the bourbon glass I own

I'll be in my bed tonight
With no one standing by my side
Just a gun under the pillow
And hearing the coyote cries

The world is mad these days
We're waitin' til rivers turns red
There's no way to fix it
Unless we turn mountain man

In our dreams we survive
Sowing seeds down the mountain all the way around
Find some purpose to be alive
Far away from the cities nowhere to be found

Nowhere to be found... far away from my hometown

When you pray for the rain
U gotta deal with the mud
Nobody's a damn saint
We just sinners hungry for some blood

Feels like a blind disease
Just living through your bones
You thought the creek would save ya
But the current was too strong

In our dreams we survive
Sowing seeds down the mountain all the way around
Find some purpose to be alive
Far away from the cities nowhere to be found

Nowhere to be found... far away from my hometown
