Flowers in Her Hair

A busy market of chatter where the sun paints the walls
I heard a whisper of wonder when summer had called
Beneath a sky much deeper she was there to astound
Pulled me up in the vastness with hope so profound

She shines she shines, in a cascade of light
With each step, she unwinds, like a bird in flight
She sings she rings with flowers in her hair
Her rhythm, I find life's got a new air

Down the alley of yesterdays where shadows flicker and play
Her words hang on a canvas turn night into day
A jester in silk with a grin wide and keen
She dances in colors that I've never seen

She blooms she blooms the roses have grown
Her spirit perfumes in a world overthrown
She turns she burns with a fire so clear
In her glow I discern the tune of the sphere

Spun from a tapestry, in the loom of fates
She carries the key, through the old city gates
In the murmur of twilight, her silhouette sways
Casting spells of alight, in the moon's tender phase

The quiet of the orchard where the wild irises rise
She whispers a secret with the stars in her eyes
A troubadour's muse with a touch of her there to find
In the chorus of dawn her silhouette entwines

She flows she knows with the river's deep call
In her it glows and I'm part of it all
She's the brush, she's the rush of the painter's dream
In hush I blush caught in her sunbeam
