Responsibility
Went to the store to pick up some groceries
Didn't know how to do it
Not something they taught me in school
But my intuition got me through it
I've made a million mistakes
But none my fault
Cause there's never been a class on how to be an adult
Luckily
I'm quite driven
And the secret to life is just keep livin'
Started out looking for tranquility
Ended up with all this responsibility
Livin a dream, but I can't take credit
Just kept going and I sure don't regret it
Was paying the tax man on four twenty
A little late but the man took plenty
I needed that money to feed my fam
Thought you were on my side Uncle Sam
Late fees, no fault but my own
Just out here to adult on my own
Started making babies acting a fool
Called the job quits when we had a whole school
These four boys are testing my ability
I guess that's the nature of responsibility
The best in life comes with quite a load
Keep your headlights going down the road
Started out looking for tranquility
Ended up with all this responsibility
Livin a dream, but I can't take credit
Just kept going and I sure don't regret it
I've made a million mistakes
But none my fault
Cause there's never been a class on how to be an adult
Luckily
I'm quite driven
And the secret to life is to just keep livin'
Didn't know how to do it
Not something they taught me in school
But my intuition got me through it
I've made a million mistakes
But none my fault
Cause there's never been a class on how to be an adult

And the secret to life is just keep livin'
Started out looking for tranquility
Ended up with all this responsibility
Livin a dream, but I can't take credit
Just kept going and I sure don't regret it
