No Puppeteers
I went to see
The puppets comfort me
They laugh and bob
And play and sing and dance
I smiled in my seat
It was quite a feat
I hadn't felt so good
Or laughed in quite a while
But then I saw
Right above the jaw
The puppets had no strings
And no puppeteer
And I was all alone
Sitting in my home
In the attic, upstairs
With no puppeteers
The puppets comfort me
They laugh and bob
And play and sing and dance
I smiled in my seat
It was quite a feat
I hadn't felt so good
Or laughed in quite a while
But then I saw
Right above the jaw
The puppets had no strings
And no puppeteer
And I was all alone
Sitting in my home
In the attic, upstairs
With no puppeteers
