Monochrome heart

In this stark, empty world,
My heart is painted in monochrome.
The weight of years, as shadows unfurled,
Pulls me down as I roam.

Yet, in the hush of abandoned spaces,
A spark whispers of life once known.
Among the remnants of shattered graces,
A glimmer of hope is quietly sown.

Now, heart hollow, a relic of what was
I ascend from the wreckage, liberated at last
Through the gloom, a brilliant flash so vast
Reveals the path, my heart thrums fast
Awakening anew, a path to rechart
With every beat, I mend my hollow heart!

Lost years weigh heavy, a formidable cost,
Each grin was a shield in my silent brawl.
But my soul never lost
Continues its quest for the dawn's first call.

And there it was
a sudden blaze in my mind
Cutting through the night
so fiercely bright!
An answer that set
my heart again ablaze!
Guiding me
out of the perpetual night.

Now, heart hollow, a relic of what was
I ascend from the wreckage, liberated at last.

Now, heart hollow, a relic of what was,
I ascend from the wreckage, liberated at last.
Through the gloom, a brilliant flash so vast
Reveals the path, my heart thrums fast.
Awakening anew, a path to rechart
With every throb, I mend my hollow heart.

No more hollow;no more apart
In each beat, I feel a fresh start
In a life where I wish it's like an art
Heart restored and no more broken parts!
