Friends pass through our lives
Like stories in the movies
Sometimes you don't know who is for real
Once you feel you understand them
They change their all
And you don't know what to feel
One minute they are for you
But next they are against
They make such familiar sounds
But seldom make sense
Friends pass through without a ticket
Leave without a reason
Friends want warmth, and cold is winter
May as well love the seasons
Friends who try to help so often
End up hurting sometimes you don't know it's pain at all
Easy though its seems to love them
Even though they stumble
But its so hard to watch them Fall
One minute they call you
But then next they don't hear
They fill you with confidence
Then drain you with fear
Friends pass through like ships with sails
Ones like any other
Friends once strong begin to sink in
May as well love the water
