People are suffering and struggling, poverty is the highest it's been
I feel cynical
There has been a dehumanisation of relationships
So that they don't have limitations on their imagination
Career politicians should step aside and let fresh voices be heard
Support young people
The thing that you can affect change over is your mind
The fact that we can now see
Wield your power with love
People making changes, protesting
Offset that heartlessness with compassion and solidarity
There is always a way to resolve situations
Compassion, just like way more compassion
Our disregard for our environment
Is really just a disregard for ourselves
I believe that at least we are here for a reason
And for a purpose, and we are inextricably linked to the planet
And to the universe like everything is

I know times are scary
And people feel weary
To stand up for something
In hopes they'll lose nothing but
How can we expect a change if we're not united
Might need to let a few things break, stop us feeling righteous
I don't wanna lose touch
I hope it's not too much to ask
Being fragile is not something that would I class
A weakness, we need it to learn from our past
