I Don't Mind

I walked upside a hill today
I tried to walk my thoughts away
But it was harder than it looked
Every step was crooked
I could not stay straight
But I made it just in time
To see the last bit of sunshine
And as it ended down
The moon she made a sound
And everything was fine
I don't mind walking
I don't mind moving slow
I don't mind taking
Taking my time everywhere I go
I took a telephone apart
I tried to find its ringing heart
But I didn't know where it was
All I found was a buzz
Now that's all I got
I cannot call a single soul
I cannot hear a kind hello
Not to mention a goodbye
Every word is in my mind
And it's getting old
I don't mind talking
I don't mind making sounds
I don't mind saying
Words that can be heard
Whenever you're around
And now I lay me down to bed
And fill my eyelids up with lead
And hope to have a dream
One that stays with me
And sticks inside my head
So I lay my body still
At least I try to until
My body starts to bake
Or my legs they shake
But I don't think they will
I don't mind parking
I don't mind laying low
I don't mind stopping
Stopping it all
And just letting it go
I don't mind walking
I don't mind moving slow
I dont mind taking
Taking my time everywhere I go
