Discarded and Forgotten

This throw away society, Has tied the bag
And left it out for me to drag
The Once loved relics now claimed by me
Littered across the lawn for all to see
You never thought that you'd see it again
But here it lies on the outside of the waste bin
And I'm nowhere to be found
The claw marks tell the story
Of my lost and found

Discarded, Forgotten
Cast away to the curb
Relinquished, Disposed of
Thrown Away in a Can
And there's nothing you can do
To stop the clawing of the raccoons
It's too late to stop us now
Our time has come to wear the crown

Discarded icons
I gather more and more
If they don't want it
Then I'll take it all for sure
How could something so important at one point
Be thrown away and yet you still feel fine?

Humans are such wasteful creatures
Self imposed eradication
We thrive in the remnants of their wastelands
Rising Landfills means more food for me

Blissful haven
Unsanitary
Terraformed before our very eyes
We sat back and let it happen
Now we reign supreme in Toxic Skies

Discarded, Forgotten
Cast away to the curb
Relinquished, Disposed of
Thrown Away in a Can
Discarded, Forgotten
Cast away to the curb
Relinquished, Disposed of
Thrown away in a can

And there's nothing you can do
To stop the clawing of the raccoons
It's too late to stop us now
The age of man has come and gone
