One-Way Ticket

Last Summer I bought a ticket
But I can't remember
It must've been a hard night
It wasn't on my credit card

Under the door I received it
The destination I didn't recognize
It must be really far

The engines start I am seated
But the night came too fast outside
And then we arrived

One thing that they never told me
It wasn't a roundtrip to the dark
No departures allowed

How do I go back?
I am feeling so homesick
To my warm bed
Castaway in this nightmare
How do I go back?
I'm stuck in this neighbourhood
What can I do?

I might have heard of these tickets
An old friend o'mine earned his at home
Fighting someone he loves

At least I'll have my shot to learn
Because
Some people's one-way ticket will depend on
Someone else's wrong turn

How do I go back?
I am feeling so homesick
To my warm bed
Castaway in this nightmare
How do I go back?
I'm stuck in this neighbourhood
What can I do?

How do I go back?
I am feeling so homesick
To my warm bed
Castaway in this nightmare
How do I go back?
I'm stuck in this neighbourhood
What can I do?
