In days of yore, when shadows fell
And foes pursued with wrathful yell
My kin, with hearts so stout and bold
Set forth on paths of tales untold
From northern lands, with sword and shield
We fled, our fate to sweetly yield
O'er rugged hills and valleys deep
Through forests dark, where spirits creep
Our quest, to find a haven fair
In Southwest lands, beyond compare
With every step, our spirits soared
Though trials dire, our journey roared
The enemy's breath, a specter near
Our courage stout, dispelled all fear
Through valleys deep, and mountains high
Guided by hope, we'd never die
In Southwest's embrace, we found reprieve
A sanctuary where we could weave
New dreams, new tales, with hearts aglow
In lands where freedom's banners flow
In Westfalls' glen, where echoes ring
We found a home, where hearts would sing
With courage true, our bond unbroken
In lands of promise, words unspoken
