The Girl

There once was a girl who saw the world too fast
She saw things that we looked right past
With her tiny eyes she felt their pain
Oh what a shame

She screamed why must it be this way
Won't anybody help me end this all today!?
With her arms she held her pillow tight
Through the night

And she cried, for love to fly:)

She ran away to where the sun shine smiled
Where birds flew high and she could touch the sky
But still the echoes of those screaming eyes
Stirred her mind

From her eye rolled a tear so sweet
That kissed the earth which blew her fire to the streets
And suddenly we stopped and we saw her eyes
Those screaming eyes

As she poured her giant heart to scream their roooars
We felt our skin caressed by winds of ancestors
We couldn't help but feel the pain of all
Those screaming eyes

We sat down with the girl to ease her pain
And we thanked her for being oh so brave
Then we stopped to talk about our ways
To change today:)

And she cried, for love to fly
And she cried, for greed to side
And we cried, for love to fly
And we cried, for love to fly

And now we must hear out for those who cry
Or else well sit and watch our mother die
So please be kind to all and heal our lands
Its all we have

You see everything big started from something small
So if you see someone hurting
Thinking they are not enough and too small
Kindly tell them that they are enough and loved by yourself
And ancestors watching and calling through all these walls
Then there will be no greed
No need to fill up that hole
Community helping one another
Love and joy bountiful
Though there will always be strife
I pray that we act from our loving light
And share our love to all beings in this life
