Everyone & Everything

There have been times I didn't know if I was right
I hoped I was right, and I thought I was right
But looking back at it now, I may have been wrong
But was I wrong? I don't know
Maybe in the end, I'll figure it out
But until then, I'll always have a doubt

There have been times I've found success
There have been times I've only done less
But when you can become less of a mess
You'll find it easier to progress
But sometimes part of that is saying yes
Because a no has never helped you grow
All it's done is bring your progress to a slow
Cause when you make it to the end of the road
And all you've said is no, you'll look back and realize
You never started the show

Something I've realized is that something you once hated
Can turn in to something you don't want to finish
Because maybe after all those days
You'll realize that after eight years
All that time has been spent in waste
And because of that, sometimes a negative can become a positive
Maybe you were wrong in the way you thought about it
But when all they are is a negative
Maybe it's time to take a step back and give another thought to it

But sometimes all you have is one
Sometimes you don't think you can carry another one
But when the biggest risk is to lose it all
Maybe you need to find a way to have them forget it all
But if you take a step back, you'll realize maybe it was an oversight
Maybe sometimes another one is all you need to have it all

But maybe I'm messing it up. Maybe all I know is how to fall
But maybe if I give it another thought
I'll find there is more to life than having it all
Maybe sometimes, no matter how hard you try
Not everyone can do it all
