Begin to Fly

I'm a penguin from Antarctica, you don't know me
I can swim pretty fast, but life speeds past, oh, it kills me
To know that other birds are having the time of their lives
It's funny
But that's when I stop in my tracks and I have an epiphany

You may think that I am just lazy, but you don't know me

Waddling to the edge
I look underneath
My body is trembling
But I remember to breathe
I jump off
But I don't wanna die
As my feathers catch wind

I'm soaring in the sky

The rivers of air flow through my wings
I'm defying my anatomy
It's scary, but I've left my sanctuary
I'm no longer
